Structural CAD / Revit Technician (Full Time) salary up to £45,000

DWS Consulting Engineers is looking for an experienced Structural CAD / Revit Technician to join our growing team based in Enderby, Leicester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys producing high-quality structural drawings and models across a varied range of projects. We are seeking someone who can work confidently with minimal supervision, contribute positively to project delivery, and collaborate effectively with engineers, clients, consultants and contractors.

About the Role

Working closely with our structural engineers, you will be responsible for producing accurate and coordinated 2D drawings and 3D Revit models from engineering calculations, sketches and design discussions. You will play a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and to a high technical standard.

About You

Ideally, you will have at least four years' experience in a structural engineering environment and be able to demonstrate most of the following:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
and Revit Structures.

• The ability to produce high-quality

structural drawings and Revit models

with limited supervision.

• A proactive approach to identifying

issues and proposing practical

solutions.

• Strong verbal and written

communication skills.

• A good understanding of how buildings

are designed and constructed.

• Experience coordinating information

across both 2D and 3D platforms.

• Knowledge of structural materials and

construction techniques, including:

• Structural steelwork

• Reinforced concrete

• Timber construction

• Masonry structures

• Foundations and the influence
of trees on foundation design
